How much does Trivnow cost?
Trivnow starts at $25/month for the Casual plan (10 events/month), $50/month for Premium (50 events with AI questions and 15,000+ premade questions), or $100/month for Legendary (unlimited events, vanity event codes, priority marketing placement). All plans include unlimited players, unlimited custom questions, and the free TV companion app. Cancel anytime — no contract.
Do players need to sign up or download an app to play?
No. Players just open any phone browser, enter the 4-letter event code, and play. No account, no email, no app install.

What is the Trivnow League?
The Trivnow League is Trivnow's national cash-prize program — separate from host-created leagues. Players who attend any League-qualifying event are automatically entered to compete for thousands of dollars in monthly cash prizes — paid directly to their email by Trivnow, not the venue. It's a built-in marketing magnet for hosts and a free upside for players. Hosts can also create their own season leagues from Profile → Leagues without applying for Trivnow League Host status.
Can hosts create their own trivia leagues?
Yes. Every paid plan (Casual, Premium, Legendary) can create host leagues from Profile → Leagues. A host league is a season the host runs themselves — persistent teams with join codes, standings on the host's public profile, and scores that roll in when an attached event ends. It is not the Trivnow League cash-prize program. A host can run their own leagues whether or not they are a Trivnow League Host. Players create or join a league team from the host's public profile, or when they join an event attached to that league.
What is a host league vs the Trivnow League?
A host league is a season the host creates so the same teams can compete across that host's events — persistent squads, team join codes, and season standings on the host's public profile. The Trivnow League is a separate national cash-prize program for approved League Hosts: $500 paid to the top 10 teams every month, funded by Trivnow. Host-league prizes are created and assigned by the host to a league team. Trivnow League cash is created and paid by Trivnow, not the host. A night can count toward both if the host is a League Host and the event is also attached to a host league.
Can Trivnow run a virtual / online / livestreamed quiz?
Yes. The TV companion app casts the live show to any screen — including OBS, Zoom, YouTube, Twitch, or a shared screen — and players join by browser. Trivnow has been used for fully virtual quiz shows since the COVID era. Recurring online shows are eligible for the Trivnow League just like in-person ones.
Does Trivnow support custom questions and AI-generated questions?
Both. Every plan supports unlimited custom questions. Premium and Legendary plans add access to 15,000+ pre-configured questions and AI question generation — pick a category and difficulty, and Trivnow writes the round in seconds.
How fast can I get my first show live?
Most new hosts get their first show live in under 10 minutes from signup.
