What does it cost my venue?
You pay your host directly at a rate the two of you agree on. Trivnow takes no commission and charges your venue nothing — the platform is covered by the host's subscription. Trivnow League cash prizes are funded by Trivnow, not your bar.
Do I need special equipment or a new app?
No. Guests play on their own phones by entering a 4-letter code in any browser — no app install, no account, no email gate. If you want the show on your TVs, the free Trivnow TV app runs on Amazon Fire TV / Firestick or in any web browser, and a laptop or projector works too. Your host handles setup.
How quickly can we start?
Requesting a host is free and takes about a minute. We follow up within a day and connect you with vetted hosts in your area. From there you and the host agree on nights, rate, and a start date directly.
What night of the week works best for trivia?
Most venues run trivia on a slower weeknight — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are the most common — so it fills seats that would otherwise sit empty. Select every night that could work on the request form and your host will help you pick the winner.
We already run trivia. Can we still use Trivnow?
Yes. Venues switch to a Trivnow host to retire pen-and-paper scoring, plug into the Trivnow League's monthly cash prizes, and get their night listed for players already browsing the Trivnow website and app. If you love your current host, they can run their show on Trivnow too.
What is the Trivnow League, and what does it do for my venue?
The Trivnow League is a national cash-prize program. Teams that play at a League-qualifying event are automatically entered to compete for monthly cash — $500 paid to the top 10 teams every month, funded by Trivnow. It gives players a reason to come back to your venue week after week at no cost to you.
Is there a contract?
Not with Trivnow. Any agreement is directly between you and your host, so you can set terms that work for your venue and change them as your night grows.
Can my own staff host it instead?
Absolutely. Anyone on your team can host with Trivnow from $25/month with unlimited players, 8+ question formats, a free TV app, and access to the Trivnow League. Most new hosts have their first show live in under 10 minutes.
